The c-treeACE Interfaces can be categorized into two primary groups: SQL-oriented interfaces and record-oriented ISAM interfaces. With c-treeACE, you can use any combination of these APIs within the same application, giving you the best of all worlds. For example, one might use a record-oriented ISAM API for high-speed inserts into the database, and an SQL API for ease of back-end reporting, all over the same data, at the same time.
SQL InterfacesOur industry-standard SQL interfaces give you ad hoc query capabilities with the full performance of the c-treeACE database engine underneath.

ISAM InterfacesOur ISAM record-oriented interfaces give you maximum control over your data. Mix high-performance ISAM online operations with back-end SQL reporting for the best of both worlds.
