Collect, store, and query IoT data with MQTT + SQL
This webinar was originally streamed in July 2021.
MQTT is a lightweight messaging protocol designed for constrained devices with limited bandwidth; it's also the de facto standard within the Internet of Things (IoT).
MQTT brokers enable devices with embedded MQTT clients to send and receive data by publishing messages and subscribing to topics. However, while some MQTT brokers can persist messages to disk, they can't be queried via SQL. In this webinar, we'll explain how FairCom Edge can be deployed as a dedicated MQTT broker. It parses messages and maps them to tables within its underlying relational database for persistence, and it also allows via standard SQL.
Watch now and learn how to:
- Get started with MQTT
- Map MQTT messages to relational tables
- Query MQTT messages with SQL
