Database training can be customized to meet your organization's needs
The FairCom ProServices program is designed to enable our customers to get the most out of their FairCom database technology. One major component is our robust suite of courses providing in-depth training for developers and administrators who use our products: FairCom DB, FairCom RTG, FairCom Edge, and FairCom MQ.
FairCom ProServices' in-depth training features customizable modules delivered by the same engineers building our products. Each course includes multiple integrated segments that complement one another.
The courses include:
Basic Concepts: This introductory course is designed for a developer or system administrator learning to use a FairCom product. It provides the basic steps of installing, configuring, and implementing a FairCom product in a new or existing environment. It is ideal for a new installation of FairCom technology or for new developers joining an existing FairCom project.
Advanced Concepts: This course has two tracks—Operations and Development—delivered by our senior system engineers. It provides a series of educational training modules detailing our most advanced configuration options, including SQL, real-time replication, hot backup/restore, and other capabilities. Your application team will be continuously up-to-date across the different areas of FairCom technologies.
- Development track: This track focuses on the unique skills and understanding that an engineering team building the application must have.
- Operations track: This equips the team implementing and supporting the application in a production environment with the skills needed to ensure successful go-live and ongoing operations.
Mastering Operations: This course is designed for onsite team members using FairCom technology in environments requiring high-performance database operations. It addresses techniques that improve availability, minimize data loss risks, and achieve maximum performance. The audience includes system administrators, DBAs, and infrastructure managers who are responsible for maintaining system operations and anticipating issues before they result in downtime.
The components of the FairCom ProServices program are designed for remote delivery. However, on-site options are also available, as long as travel restrictions don’t apply. On-site training will have additional travel costs. Where concerns of budget, time, or multi-team locations arise, each program can be customized. Visit our ProServices page to learn more.
